Day 1 / You start with a day’s cross country ride straight off the Tunnel to get you to Reims for your first overnight stop.
Day 2 / The start of the real riding is here, lunch is taken in eastern France and then you’ll enter Germany via the beautiful sweeping curves of the Vosges mountains. The afternoon brings you into the Black Forest region before reaching your well-deserved hotel in Baden-Baden.
Day 3 / Begin with the infamous B500 with its smooth tarmac and flowing curves and taking you through Bavaria before arriving at your hotel on the border with Austria.
Day 4 / Crossing through the breath-taking Timmelsjoch pass into Italy you can’t fail to be blown away by the huge open vistas and views from the summit as you cross. For the next two nights you’ll stay in style in the heart of the Dolomites range. Your hosts are keen bikers and can help with the next day’s rideout plans, they have road books on hand as well as garaging facilities and a fantastic wellness spa.
Day 5 / Rideout day with destinations to pick and choose from including:
• The world famous Stelvio pass
Day 6 / Back through the Austrian Alps you go tackling the Timmelsjoch in reverse for some more stunning views and then down to your hotel surrounded by cuckoo clocks at the base of the mountains.
Day 7 / You make your way through southern Germany and back up towards Baden Baden for another go at the B500 and surrounding roads, riding it south to north is an uncommon treat!
Day 8 / From Baden Baden you ride into the Vosges region of France via the acclaimed riding roads of the Route des Crêtes and then onto the the Douaumont ossuary WW1 war memorial at Verdun before bedding down at your final overnight stop.
Day 9 / Hearty breakfast and then onto the channel tunnel for the last leg of the trip home…
Increasing the trip to an 11 day tour allows you to stay for 2 extra nights in the biker friendly hotel in the Dolomites region and ride more of the routes or to relax and explore at your own pace.
