Sarah Orson

Born and raised in Staffordshire, I spend most of my free time exploring the Peak District, usually hiking well off the beaten track, occasionally getting a little lost, but always managing to find a good pub that welcomes muddy boots and dogs.

Travel and adventure have shaped both my career and who I am. I’ve spent my entire working life in the travel industry because I genuinely believe travel enriches your life. It’s never just about the destination, but the people you meet and the experiences that stay with you long after you return home.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel extensively, including unforgettable journeys to both the Arctic and Antarctica.

Travelling to Ushuaia, famously known as “The End of the World”, and standing there at the very edge of the planet was an incredible experience that deepened my love of exploration and wild places.

While I haven’t taken to the handlebars myself just yet, I absolutely love being a pillion passenger. There’s something about the adrenaline, freedom, and sense of adventure that makes every ride unforgettable. I’ve had my boots on the ground at the end of the world, and with Magellan Motorcycle Tours, our riders can put their tyres there too.

What I enjoy most about being part of the Magellan Motorcycle Tours team is helping people experience something truly extraordinary. Adventure travel brings together incredible people from all walks of life and creates memories that last forever, and being part of that is something really special.
