HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR MOTORCYCLE TOURS TO THE USA, CANADA AND CUBA
- Alaska, the Dalton highway: The road made famous by the TV show “Ice Road Truckers” and regularly featured as one of the most challenging roads on the planet, come with us and see what all the fuss is about.
- Alaska, Denali highway: 135 miles of gorgeous gravel background through the central Alaskan wilderness, this road is not to be missed on a trip to Alaska.
- Canada, the Alcan Highway: Built in WW2 to connect the lower 48 states with Alaska, today this road is the go to road trip for many plucky RV drivers, it’s miles better on a bike though!
- Canada, the Cassiar Highway: Peeling off from the Alcan this lesser traveled route is the Magellan road of choice due to its remoteness and huge number of black bears. You’re almost guaranteed to spot one each day!
- USA, the Beartooth Pass & Rocky mountains: The bear tooth pass at 11,000ft rivals any other pass the world over, best of all it’s one of several crossings we make of the rockies on our trips.
- USA, Yellowstone National Park: Known to all as the best place for wildlife spotting in the lower 48 states, we spend a whole day exploring the park, it’s canyons, pastures, geysers and wildlife.
- USA, Lolopass and highway 12: A smooth 99 miles of endless curves…what’s not to like. We love the Lolopass!
- USA, North Cascades: A ride over the cascades in northern washington state should be on everyone’s bucket list.
- USA, Mount St Helens and Mount Rainier: Witnessing the devastation still apparent from the eruption of Mt St Helens on the approach to Portland is only surpassed by the magnificence of Mt Rainier on arrival.
- USA, Pacific Coast Highway: This iconic road needs no introduction, day after day of glorious coastal riding awaits from Portland to San Francisco.
- USA, Redwood national forest: Overnight in a log cabin in the woods, ride through the drive though trees or just marvel at the size of these glorious giants.
- USA, San Francisco: Pop across to Alcatraz, take a whale watching trip or just relax in downtown, your day in San Francisco is sure to delight.
- USA, Yosemite national park: We ride in plenty of National parks on our USA trips but Yosemite is one of the finest, Bridaveil and Yosemite falls, El Capitan, half dome, cathedral spire, three brothers and north dome all in a day, yes please!
- USA, Death Valley and Sierra Mountains: Straddling the central valley of California and the Great Basin, death valley is a region of extremes, the heat is breathtaking but the views are too…
- USA, Las Vegas: Take a helicopter trip down the strip at sunset, get lucky in the casinos or go for a spin out to the Valley of Fire, there’s something for everyone in Sin City.
- USA, Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam: No Wild West trip is complete without seeing the grand canyon and hoover dam, we even get the chance to visit the glass skywalk and walk right out over the rim!
- USA, Route 66 and Oatman: The only true section of route 66 still standing is well worth a visit unlike it’s newer counterparts further east. Cool off in Oatman and take some pics of the famous “Wild” Burros.
- USA, Joshua Tree National Park, Mojave Desert and Ortega highway: Explore all three of these on your final few days heading back towards Los Angeles and you’ll never want to go home.
