Starting in Folkestone, we ride cross-country to Châlons-en-Champagne for our first overnight stop. The next day we ride through eastern France and enter Germany via the stunning Vosges Mountains. This natural heritage site is home to exhilarating passes and picturesque scenery that make you want to get lost in its tree-lined hairpins. But there’s more still to come.
This afternoon brings us into the Black Forest region before reaching our lovely little hotel for the next three nights near Baden-Baden, famous for its hot springs. While here, you can have some quality time off the bike to explore the town and relax. Or if you’re still itching for more saddle time, there are plenty of fantastic ride-outs to choose from!

Beautiful Black Forest
You have a broad range of rideout day options with several destinations to pick and choose from, including Europe’s highest waterfall in the picturesque town of Triberg and the beautiful Lake Titisee, where you can swim, rent a boat, or simply relax on the shores.
You can also choose to visit the thermal spas in Baden-Baden, or the famous Red Cathedral in Freiburg, whose creators used ancient nanotechnology to tint its windows red. Finally, there is Lake Constance, a series of three beautiful lakes at the foot of the Rhine.
Get your biking bucket list out! We’ve got one of Europe’s most amazing motorcycling roads lined up! The B500 has long been considered a motorcyclist's dream. Riding from Baden-Baden through the Black Forest, it delivers on its promise of being one of the best with its scenic beauty and hairpin bends to keep even the most seasoned riders on their toes!
We then head back to the lovely Vosges Mountains via the acclaimed Route des Cretes, providing us with panoramic views of beautiful countryside extending as far as the eye can see, with a selection of rideouts to choose from here again. Then it's on to the WW1 war memorial at Verdun before heading to the final nights stop in Calais, then on to home via the Eurotunnel.

Cathedral City of Reims and disused GP circuit: Reims Gueux was the second location of the Grand Prix, several Formula One races, and MotoGP. You will ride on a section of the old track past the pits and grandstand.
The B500: The B500 is consistently listed in the top ten biking roads in the world, and it’s not difficult to see why when you’re on the twists and curves through the forest.

Deep forests and the twisty roads of the Vosges Mountains: Take a ride on a section of the Tour de France course in the Vosges Mountains. A known series of local biker roads in the deep leafy forests makes this as picturesque as it is fun!
Triberg, the location of Europe’s highest waterfall: Germany’s highest waterfall, which flows 163 meters down to the river Gutach, is set in the picturesque town of Triberg. This lovely little town is well worth a visit, and the waterfall is truly spectacular.
Lake Titisee: A popular spot for summer swims or a peaceful row, deep in the heart of the Alps. It is situated just a stone’s throw from the busy city of Freiburg, but offers a quiet and relaxing respite from the hustle and bustle.
Red cathedral in Freiburg: Freiburg Minster is the red cathedral in Freiburg with deep red windows constructed in the 1200s.
Thermal springs in Baden-Baden: Baden-Baden (“Bath Bath”), is a place famous for its hot springs. The baths at Baden-Baden have hosted famous names from Roman emperors to Napoleon.

Day 1
Meet your guide and fellow tourmates in Folkestone for your welcome meal, ready to cross the Channel early the next day. If you're renting a bike, you'll collect it from near London and ride with the guide together to Folkestone on this day.
Day 2
From Folkestone we ride to our first overnight stay in Châlons-en-Champagne.
Day 3
Lunch in eastern France and then on to Germany via the Northern Vosges mountains, finishing in Baden-Baden.
Day 4, 5, 6
A choice of rideout days: Europe’s highest waterfall at Triberg, Lake Titisee, the thermal spas in Baden-Baden, the Red Cathedral in Freiburg, or Lake Constance.
Day 7, 8
From Baden-Baden, you ride the B500, then through the Vosges to France, with a selection of ride-outs to choose from the next day.
Day 9
We continue through the Vosges region of France via the Route des Crêtes and then onto the Douaumont ossuary WW1 war memorial at Verdun.
Day 10
Cross back over into the UK via the Eurotunnel then ride on home full of new and exciting memories! If you're renting a bike, you'll return it to near London on this day before making your onward journey.

Rental prices calculated based on 10 rental days (minimum required for this tour). All prices are total.
For this table, the "Two Bikes, Shared Room" prices assume rental of two of the same model, which isn't required and in some cases may not be possible.
All bikes come with luggage included. Top boxes and GPS can be rented, subject to availability, for an additional charge.
Can I get a different crossing on this trip?
Of course, many of our clients cross by ferry from further north. If you would like to do this and make your own way to the hotel on the first night just let us know in the comments section of your booking form and we will deduct the cost of the Eurotunnel crossing from your booking.
What will the weather be like on this tour?
The weather can of course be changeable but its worth planning for a little bit of rain in the forests just in case. Full kit and packing lists are supplied in your tour packs and we are happy to offer advice on packing for any of the trips.
