MOTORCYCLE TOURS SOUTH AMERICA

There’s nowhere on Earth quite like South America for motorcycle travel. As one of the planet’s last true frontiers, it’s a chance to witness nature and culture collide in spectacular fashion. Here, you’ll cross paths with gauchos, watch condors soaring overhead, gaze up at snow-capped peaks, and hear the distant hum of remote villages where time has stood still for centuries.

At the continent’s southern edge lies Patagonia — our first destination in South America and a land seemingly made for adventure on two wheels. We’ve got tours running both south and north, where you’ll ride beneath the jagged spires of Torres del Paine, follow the legendary Carretera Austral, and lose yourself in the vast, untamed wilderness. Ever dreamt of riding to the end of the world? In Patagonia, that dream becomes reality.

HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR MOTORCYCLE TOURS TO SOUTH AMERICA

Puerto Varas – Besides the fact that it’s just good travel sense to arrive 2–3 days early for a fly-ride tour, staying a few extra nights in Puerto Varas is well worth it! With gorgeous views of the volcanoes, great eateries, and plenty of day excursions, this town is a brilliant place to acclimatise before the tour starts.

Carretera Austral – We stay on Ruta 7, passing through rural Patagonia for the first few days, and it brings some sublime riding and epic scenery!

Chile Chico Day Off – While Chile Chico itself is a very small town, there are plenty of options for a great day off! A full-day gravel ride for the adventurous, horse trekking, hiking, and the Marble Caves excursion.

El Chaltén – The ride into El Chaltén offers us our first glimpses of the epic Andes and some of the best scenery of the trip.

Perito Moreno Glacier – At 30 km long, 5 km wide, and 170 m thick, this glacier is one of the most impressive anywhere—and not to be missed!

Torres del Paine – A day in the park on one of the best gravel routes in the world will blow your socks off!

Ushuaia – The End of the World. The southernmost city boasts a variety of activities, and we spend a day here to explore.

Punta Arenas – The endpoint of the tour. We recommend spending a day here after the trip and visiting a neighbouring island where you can get up close and personal with some very cute penguins.

Gravel – If you’re a keen off-roader, there are plenty of opportunities to stretch your gravel legs! The vast majority of these routes are optional, with only three short sections that are unavoidable.
