We do things differently to most here at Magellan and one of the biggest examples of this is our FreeRide system. We produce hyper detailed tour packs for all of our riders with a glossy tour itinerary document that goes out in the post as well as in digital format. The level of detail we provide is unique in the industry with packs taking over 100 hours to produce for each rider. All of our routes are provided in Garmin, TomTom and Google map formats split into numerous daily waypoints with morning and afternoon coffee stops, lunch stops and various points of interest.
You don’t just get given a track or a list of hotels to aim for each night. Doing it this way means that on our Guided Tours people are free to have their own adventures on their own terms. Our riders usually break off into smaller groups of 2 or 3 choosing to ride with others that go at a similar pace. We don’t force you to ride in one big group so no one has to ride slower or faster than they want, our guides “lead from the back” and so are always there if people have a problem during the day. You can ride with others on trip, with one of our guides or on your own and chop and change each day depending on what you fancy.

We run support vehicles on tours in North America and North Africa to help in case of breakdowns or incidents but in mainland Europe there is a very comprehensive breakdown recovery network and our guides are all well versed in getting people back on the road quickly if the need arises.
Do I have To Ride with the Group?
We don’t force clients to ride together in a group or stick to the drop off system, everyone has the full route including all stops loaded into their satnavs and are free to ride at any pace they are comfortable with. Our guides conduct morning briefings, update everyone regularly through the day by text/whatsapp, arrange evening meals, off bike activities etc… and are generally on hand 24/7 to offer support and assistance where required to make sure everyone has a smooth hassle free holiday.
Do I Hire a Bike or Bring My Own?
You can tour on your own motorcycle or we can arrange rental for you, many of our trips have two or more of our riders on them to ensure you have the best level of support and we arrange the transport, hotels, stops, navigation and many meals to save you the hassle.
