After a good night’s sleep, you’ll get acquainted with your new steed before heading out for lunch on a luggage-free shakedown ride, following a beautiful loop around the southwestern slope of the mighty Teide and back to your hotel. Tenerife is internationally renowned for stargazing, and there’s an optional night ride to the Llano de Ucanca Vista Point if you’d like to try your hand at astronomy.

The adventure truly begins the next day as you start to explore some of the best biking roads you are likely to have come across. You ride a full loop of the western end of Tenerife, circling the Corona Forest Natural Park, a beautiful belt of pine forests often called the lungs of Tenerife. Along the way, you cover stunning coastal sections and skirt the northeastern slope of Teide before returning to the south of the island along the TF-28 (known as the road of a thousand bends), ready to cross to La Gomera.

One of the island group’s best-kept secrets, tiny La Gomera is a motorcyclist’s dream destination, famously rich in endemic biodiversity and something of a hidden treasure. You cover the entire island the following day, riding through the UNESCO World Heritage Site Garajonay National Park, a lost world of ancient laurel forests. Shrouded in clouds and mist, these forests are living remnants of the old rainforests that covered Europe and North Africa over 2.5 million years ago. As you stay at our fabulous hotel for two nights, you can once again ride luggage-free, or even spend a day relaxing.

From La Gomera, you have a lazy start to the day, with the opportunity to spend the morning riding or visiting the sights. Then you hop back across the water to Tenerife once more, this time riding the mountainous spine of the island from south to north, crossing the astonishing volcanic wasteland of Teide National Park. At 3,718 metres, Teide is the third-tallest volcano on earth and is regarded by UNESCO as being of global importance to geological research. From the heights of Teide, you continue down to your hotel on the outskirts of bustling Santa Cruz.

In the morning, you'll ride into the heart of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, the cultural capital of the Canary Islands. After exploring this historic city, you take a scenic loop through the remote and rugged landscapes of Parque Rural de Anaga. Later, you'll catch a boat to Gran Canaria, which rises dramatically from the ocean like something out of Jurassic Park. You stay here for two nights, giving you the chance to enjoy luggage-free rides or simply relax at your leisure.

You only need to glance at a map of Gran Canaria to see that it is truly a biker’s paradise! On your second day, you cover the entire island, riding through an older, more weathered landscape on some of the most unbelievably sinuous mountain roads with barely a straight in sight. We’ll also have the chance to ascend Pico de las Nieves, the island’s highest point, for breathtaking panoramic views. Keep an eye out for the many cave houses still inhabited today as you cut through the lush mountainous terrain.

Catching your final ferry after breakfast, you arrive back on Tenerife for one last amazing ride back to where it all began. With your bike returned, you'll enjoy a final night at the hotel before you departure the next day.
