Tour Guide

I’m a Canadian who moved to the UK to build a career in project controls and engineering—but in the winter of 2020, during the height of the Covid pandemic, I found something that changed my life entirely: motorcycles.

What began as a curiosity quickly became a passion. I started riding later than most, learning the ropes on a 125cc with L-plates and absolutely no grand plan—just a desire to feel something different. From those first nervous rides to my first solo tour through Europe, motorcycles became more than a hobby; they became a way of life.

For someone whose mind never truly switches off, riding was the first place I found real calm. On a bike, the noise fades, the thoughts disappear, and everything narrows to the road ahead. I felt this fully for the first time while riding through the Scottish Highlands on the A82. Six months earlier, I’d driven the same route in a car and felt almost nothing. On a motorcycle—at 60 mph on a 125cc—it was pure joy. That moment changed everything.

Since then, I’ve explored the UK on small-capacity bikes, ridden solo across Europe, climbed through the Alps, traced the Amalfi Coast, crossed into the Arctic Circle, and reached places that once felt impossibly far away. What I discovered along the way is that motorcycle travel isn’t about the destination—it’s about the journey: the bends, the smells, the changing landscapes, the vulnerability, and the freedom. It makes you feel alive in a way nothing else does.

Joining Magellan Motorcycle Tours allows me to combine my love of riding, travel, and storytelling to help others experience the world the same way—on two wheels, fully present. Whether you’re stepping into adventure riding for the first time or pushing your own limits, my goal is to create journeys that are unforgettable, empowering, and deeply human.

If motorcycles have taught me anything, it’s that you don’t need to start perfectly—you just need to start. And sometimes, the road changes your life.
