Motorbikes – and motors in general – have always been a love of mine. I grew up in London, but weekends were spent at go-karting tracks in Kent with my dad and brother. As we got older, the switch to motorbikes happened, and I spent several years racing all over the UK. Travelling around the country and riding bikes is something I’ve loved for as long as I can remember. After taking a break from racing, I started to look elsewhere for my biking fix. I toured Cambodia with a group of friends on dirt bikes, and this got me thinking. Then my parents invited me along on a tour with Magellan to the Black Forest in Germany, and it changed everything.
I found a new love in life – travelling around the world by motorbike. It really is a bug that, once you catch it, it’s with you forever. I can’t think of a better way to see the world than on two wheels. Soon after that, I became a guide with Magellan. Since then, I’ve ridden all over Europe on my Bonneville. My most memorable trip with Magellan was the tour to Greece – it’s a truly special experience, with an incredible sense of adventure.
