Tour Guide

I was born and bred in London and currently work as a Leadership & Communication Coach. Before setting up my own business, I spent my career in the Not-for-Profit sector.

I only started riding in 2018, at the age of 39. It all began when I went away for a week as a pillion passenger – and it was so uncomfortable that within a week of returning, I had completed my CBT and bought a lovely little MSX 125. At just 5 ft tall, finding the right bike for me can be challenging, but I was determined.

Within six months, I passed my full test and upgraded to a Z300, and this is where my path crossed with Magellan. I embarked on my first-ever trip—a 21-day journey to Croatia and back on the Z300! I was a novice, never having tackled a hairpin bend before, but the Magellan guides took me under their wing. That trip changed my world forever. I made lifelong friends and learned invaluable lessons, the main one being that a Z300 is not exactly ideal for touring! So, I returned home and upgraded to my MT07.

Fast forward to 2024, and I am now an Assistant Guide for Magellan, about to embark on trip #10 on my wonderful Triumph Tiger GT 900 LRH.

So far, my top three trips have been to the Arctic Circle, the Pyrenees, and Ireland. I’ve gone from being uncertain about hairpins to confidently handling them. For me, the best moments on all my trips are the epic scenic views that take your breath away and meeting people from all walks of life.

Nothing quite beats that feeling of freedom as you cruise through endless scenery, listening to your favourite music, feeling the wind on your face, and just appreciating the opportunity to ride around the world.

My other biggest passion and obsession in life is my insanely crazy rescue cockapoo, Bobo. He fills my world with joy and brings me so much happiness. If you asked my friends, they’d probably describe me as tenacious, authentically me, and fiercely loyal—at least, I hope so!
