Hi, I’m Rob.
I’m based in Ireland, and I’ve always loved travelling and discovering somewhere new. Getting there by motorcycle makes it even better. You’re part of the journey in a way you simply aren’t when you fly or drive: you notice the changing scenery, take the road that looks interesting and stop for a chat with someone you might never otherwise have met.
I’m especially drawn to adventure riding and exploring the quieter roads and trails of Ireland and beyond. I share those trips on my YouTube channel, @ADVMotoIRL, including the brilliant views, the tricky bits and the occasional mishap. What keeps me coming back is the mix of freedom, discovery, touring and the friendships that form along the way.
That’s what I’m most looking forward to sharing as a Magellan guide. Whether it’s a remarkable stretch of road or an unexpected stop, I hope every rider comes home with stories they’ll want to tell. See you on the road!
