Hi, I’m Mark, Marketing Manager at Magellan. I’m driven by a mix of creativity, curiosity and a love for experiencing new and exciting things.
I’ve spent many years working in digital marketing, leading strategy, brand and performance across premium, service-led and experience-driven businesses.
I enjoy connecting the story behind a brand with real, measurable results, whether that’s improving customer journeys, increasing conversion or building marketing systems that support long-term growth.
I tend to be quite hands-on and work closely with leadership teams and specialist partners to make sure everything we do delivers commercially as well as creatively.
More recently, travel has become a real focus for me, building on my time in East Africa, mainly Tanzania and Zanzibar, where a friend and I raised the funds, financed the project and worked with local builders to help create an orphanage from the ground up. It’s something that has stayed with me and shaped how I see the world.
I lived in London for many years before returning to the Midlands, and I’m always looking ahead to the next trip. Italy is a firm favourite, and I’m planning future visits to Japan and Patagonia. Once I’ve got my full motorbike licence, the Patagonia tour with Magellan is firmly on the list.
Outside of work, life is a mix of music, movement and creative projects. I host a weekly radio show with a global audience, playing everything from funk and soul to worldwide sounds, nu-jazz and nu-soul, alongside a monthly DJ residency. I’m also into the gym, swimming, hiking and bouldering, and I volunteer as an arts mentor with Junction Arts. Writing and reselling clothes keeps me busy too.
What I like about Magellan is that it’s not just about travel. It’s about the experience, the people and doing things properly. Being part of a team that genuinely cares about delivering something memorable makes it all worthwhile.
